Institutions that wish to become members of the SP-XXL must submit an application as specified in the Rules of the SP-XXL charter and have a Sponsor appointed. Applications should be sent to the SP-XXL President (see the contact information below), who handles the distribution and voting process. Applications are voted on by the eligible member sites, with a simple majority required for acceptance. Please review the SP-XXL Member Organizations for possible Sponsors, if needed, a Sponsor will be solicited from the current member sites.
